Bait dog rescued from a fighting ring now carries his security blanket everywhere

Bull Pit When Barbie was used as a bait dog in a dogfighting ring, he was still a young puppy. When he was saved, he had psychological and bodily harm. He was terrified as his frail body was pierced and infected.

He was completely helpless, and his wound was emitting a terrible stench. His demise eventually resulted from these grim circumstances.

Bobby was just in time saved from being put to death, but his problems had just begun. For the following two months, he was held captive in the garage like a useless piece of trash. When a woman eventually learned of his suffering, she immediately decided to adopt him. Bobby was confused and frustrated as he sat in the car of the savior, not realizing that his life was about to change irrevocably.

For the first time, Bobby felt touched by the new mother’s love and dedication. She gave him the freedom to overcome his fear and shyness at his own pace. As the months went by, everyone was in awe of his astonishing physical and mental recovery. He develops a special bond with the woman who saved him, which later manifests as severe separation anxiety (which is understandable given his experience).

To provide Bubby security and consistency while she was gone, his owner decided to teach him in the box. During this crate training, Bubby learned that blankets offer a new level of comfort! Every morning, he sneaked out of his box with a blanket and strutted around the house joyfully sniffing and wagging his tail!

The safety net of Bubby’s blanket assured him that everything was fine. His nightmares and trauma fade, but his beloved “blank habit” mostly holds. He eventually grew to adore pillows, toys, and pretty much everything else that made him think of home!

When Bobby’s family adopted Simon, another rescued pit bull, they gave him the greatest gift of all. Bobby was supposed to outgrow his blanket addiction, but that never happened. It’s only a matter of time before Simon imitates his brother’s all-consuming affection because he adores and admires Bobby! Wow! Pit bulls are cute, too!

Watch Bubby use his dependable blanket to deal with past trauma in the video down below.
