They told him not to move, and the dog waited a week before realizing they would not return

Dogs are exceptionally loving creatures that form strong bonds with their owners. This is why abandoning them is so difficult for them, since they are back waiting for them to return to seek for them.

Recently, a guy abandoned a dog in a way that shattered many people’s hearts on social media. You’d have to be rather callous to abandon an innocent animal after promising to keep an eye on it.

No dog deserves to be abandoned; they unconditionally give us their love and loyalty; we are the most important thing in their life, and keeping one as a pet is a huge responsibility.

The dog is perfectly healthy, with a lively and obedient personality.

In Russia, a guy arrived with a gorgeous German shepherd and requested him to sit and remain on the side of the road.

The dog obeyed him without hesitation and remained quietly waiting for his owner to return. The man, however, never returned. He was using the dog’s extreme loyalty to him in order to get rid of it.

Everything happened near a restaurant, and the staff were there to see it.

People from the restaurant fed and watered the puppy every day, and eventually a woman called Elena Kniazeva heard the sad story and wanted to save the animal. They gave him the name Luke and proceeded to approach him in order to earn his trust.

The dog was very loving, but despite the fact that it had been more than a week, he refused to move to meet the order of the owner who had abandoned him.

Statistics on dog abandonment in Russia are concerning. There are around 35,000 pups on the streets in Moscow alone.

Elena was able to capture Luke’s heart and finally persuade him to join her. Elena took him to a shelter, where the affable dog quickly acquired new friends.

Despite his ordeal, he continued to trust others and expressed gratitude to those who assisted him when he needed it the most.

Despite high abandonment rates, Russians frequently grant stray dogs temporary shelter during the winter months.

He was apprehensive at first, but he turned out to be a really friendly dog that got along well with the other dogs. Within hours, he was best friends with Dennis, another dog rescued by Elena.

Dennis was found on a work site with a damaged leg, crying for aid.

Luke’s life has radically transformed. With all the bustle at the shelter, he looked like a new dog after spending a week without moving from the area where his owner had abandoned him. However, the best was yet to come.

Dennis and Luke are four years old. Her tale went viral, and she found someone she wanted to be a part of her home in just a few days.

Meredith Andrew chose to adopt him together with her beloved buddy Dennis, and now Cause 4 Paws Toronto is arranging for the joyful friends to move to their new home in Canada.

The projected cost of the journey to Canada is $2,000, which they have lately raised.

These two adorable puppies’ sad days are gone, and they will now have a loving home that will not abandon them cruelly.

Luke began a new life, leaving behind his sad background in order to share happiness with a family who genuinely loves him and a dog who became his life partner.
