Woman’s skull was cracked by illegal immigrant FREED by program started by Kamala Harris

Donald Trump had a woman speaking out against Kamala Harris and her lax views on immigration. The woman is Amanda Kiefer. She was 29 when an illegal immigrant attacked her in San Francisco. He stole her purse then tried to run her over in an SUV and fractured her skull in the attack that happened back in 2008.

Kamala Harris was District Attorney at the time and she had launched a program called ‘Back on Track.’ The illegal immigrant, named Alexander Izaguirre, then 20, was part of the program. The program allowed illegal immigrant criminals to STAY OUT OF JAIL and train for jobs. Except, there was a problem. They were illegal immigrants, so they weren’t supposed to be allowed to hold jobs at the time anyway. Keifer said to ABC News: “If people who committed crimes were allowed to stay out of prison to train for jobs they couldn’t legally hold, I think most Americans would disapprove of that.”

Kamala Harris’ program was supposed to let criminals get job training and then have their records expunged. It should have only been for American citizens, but like many programs put in place by Democrats – things always seem to go wrong. This program somehow allowed illegal immigrants to get job training for jobs they couldn’t legally have, and then some of them went right back to breaking the law, leaving people like Amanda Keifer with a broken skull. Snippets from an ABC article said the following back in July:

But, as Harris told the Los Angeles Times when the newspaper first highlighted Kiefer’s story in 2009, there was a “flaw in the design” of the program — an unintended loophole — that let perpetrators who were in the country illegally receive the job training and remain free, even though they couldn’t lawfully obtain a job.

It’s not the first time Harris has faced those accusations. During his unsuccessful 2020 presidential campaign, Trump used Kiefer’s story to attack Harris and what he alleged was her support for “deadly sanctuary cities.”

“As district attorney in San Francisco, Kamala put a drug-dealing illegal alien into a jobs program instead of into prison. Four months later, the illegal alien robbed a 29-year-old woman, mowed her down with an SUV, fracturing her skull and ruining her life,” Trump said at an August 2020 campaign stop in Old Forge, Pennsylvania. “We believe our country should be a sanctuary for law abiding Americans, not for criminal aliens.”
