DOG IN SHELTER FOR 270 DAYS ‘JUMPS FOR JOY’ WHEN SOMEONE FINALLY NOTICES HIM

This dog spent 270 days in the shelter because no one wanted him. His days of waiting are finally over.

All a dog wants is to be with its forever family.

Dogs descended from wolves and they operate in packs. Even though dogs have been domesticated, they still need their pack but this time, it comes in the form of a human family.

That’s why it’s always exciting when a dog gets adopted.

The dog has finally found its pack! And it’s especially a joyful moment when dogs at the shelter have been adopted.

And it’s even more exciting when a dog has been in a shelter for a long time before they finally get adopted.

Paco is an American Staffordshire Terrier, who has been living at this shelter for the past 270 days. No one wanted him because of two things: he was an adult dog, and he came from a Pitbull breed.

Paco is an American Staffordshire Terrier, who has been living at this shelter for the past 270 days. No one wanted him because of two things: he was an adult dog, and he came from a Pitbull breed.

No one until this couple.

Paco waited for 270 days for someone to take him home. And on this day, his forever family arrived.

Paco was so excited, he couldn’t stop jumping when his new dad arrived to get him. At first, Paco had no idea what was going on. He just saw that the shelter staff and his new dad were walking toward his space.

It wasn’t until his new dad reached for him through the railings that he knew he was going to his forever home.

He could not contain his excitement. The day he was waiting for has finally arrived!

They tried to get him to stay still for a moment but can you blame him if he can’t? He was finally going to live with his forever family!

He’ll no longer be alone. Paco will be living with a family who has committed to loving him every day for the rest of their lives.

It’s so hard to be a Pitbull or Pitbull breed living in a shelter.

There are so many misconceptions and misunderstandings about the breed that make them almost impossible to get adopted.

But then comes the humans who understand and love Pitbull breeds and they seek out this dog breed to give them a forever home.

Such is the case with Paco.

Paco’s new life began when he left that shelter with his new family. And since then, they had done nothing but love him and take care of him, even through the frustrating and worry-filled days.

A lot of people believe that when an animal gets adopted by their forever family, everything is sunshine and roses.

But that is furthest from the truth.

There are a lot of things that social media doesn’t show. There is the adjustment period where the animal still adjusts to their new home. There are days when the animal gets sick.

And there are days when they destroy almost everything in their family’s home.

But their new family chooses to love them and take care of them through the good and the bad.
